What it does

Provides a balance of nutrients as required by the fruiting plant. This improves the flowering of the plant as well as stimulating and enhancing fruiting with enhanced keeping qualities. Promotes a more robust, healthier root system, which allows the plant to better withstand adverse conditions.

Where and when to use it

All newly planted or established fruit trees and other fruiting plants. Fruit Blend has been blended specifically to stimulate  fruit set and enhance maturing fruit quality and improve shelf life, while maintaining healthy plant growth.

How often to use it

PREPARATION OF  SOIL PRIOR TO PLANTING
Loosen a minimum of 1 square metre of soil for each tree. Apply products as per establishment guide below. Turn over the soil and water thoroughly. Lightly mulch to a depth of 5cm. Ideally, this preparation is to be completed three months prior to planting, otherwise proceed from planting.

Garden Mate, Garden Delight and Fruit Blend working together

GARDEN MATE
Garden Mate is a soil and plant conditioner, mineral and trace element source, pH maintenance, replaces the need for lime, gypsum and dolomite, beneficial micro-flora and nitrogen production where mulch is used.

GARDEN DELIGHT
Garden Delight is a 100% natural composted plant food provides extra minerals and humates to maintain healthy topsoil environment.

Application rate

YOUNG NON-BEARING PLANTS
Generally every 6 months.

ESTABLISHED PLANTS
Applied at various stages of growth, but generally 4-5 times per year. More often if necessary.

Other important information

  • Stabilises soil pH.
  • For the best response, spread on the soil and work in or water in with irrigation.
  • Ideal to use during fruit development.
  • Can be used during all stages of fruit tree growth.
  • For best results use in conjunction with other Earthlife garden products.
